Psychopaths loving dishing out all kinds of abuse but at the same time pretending to be doing some kind of favour, it coud be physical abuse or sexual abuse but all the while they will either tell the target they deserve it or they are imagining it.

Anxiety
The psychopath will try to keep the target in a state of anxiety as often as possible the will use everything they can to achieve this. However, if the target realises this it can become less effective and in fact can often become quite amusing when they try to worry or scare you although this may depend on your personality.
C

Cognitive Dissonance
In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time; performs an action that is contradictory to their beliefs, ideas, or values; or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas or values. This condition occurs to targets of psychopaths regularly as the psychopath often affirms one thing while doing something totally different. One way to combat this is to assess the psychopath on their actions not on what they say.

Conscience
A psychopath has liitle or no conscience which they believe is a massive advantage over normal human beings. It allows them to operate without the confines of integrity, honesty, right and wrong, guilt, etc which regulate decent behaviour in normal people.

Cruelty
One of the cornerstones of the psychopaths personality, cruelty to animals, children, people anything they feel gives them some kind of twisted power.
D

DARVO
DARVO refers to a reaction perpetrators of wrong doing, particularly sexual offenders, may display in response to being held accountable for their behavior. DARVO stands for "Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender." The perpetrator or offender may Deny the behavior, Attack the individual doing the confronting, and Reverse the roles of Victim and Offender such that the perpetrator assumes the victim role and turns the true victim -- or the whistle blower -- into an alleged offender. This occurs, for instance, when an actually guilty perpetrator assumes the role of "falsely accused" and attacks the accuser's credibility and blames the accuser of being the perpetrator of a false accusation.

Institutional DARVO occurs when the DARVO is committed by an institution (or with institutional complicity) as when police charge rape victims with lying. Institutional DARVO is a pernicious form of institutional betrayal.

Depression
A state which targets may succumb to especially if they have no support systems or supportive people in their lives. Can affect anyone no matter how strong they are however it may help to realise you are dealing with some very sick, deviant people and it is their problem and not the targets.

The technique used to keep away from abusers is called No Contact, Low Contact, or Grey Rock.

Gang stalking is a form of community mobbing and organised stalking combined. Just like you have workplace mobbing, and online mobbing, which are both fully recognised as legitimate, this is the community form. Gang stalking is organised harassment at it's best. It the targeting of an innocent individual or individuals for revenge, jealousy, sport, or to keep them quiet, etc. It's a psychological attack that can completely destroy a persons life, while leaving little or no evidence to incriminate the perpetrators. Primary targets are single women, minorities, dissidents, whistle blowers, etc. Gang-stalking against an individual is probably better described as mobbing as gang-stalking often describes the harassment of several individuals who may not even know one another or be linked in any way.

A system used to try and make the target doubt themselves or even their own sanity, the term is taken from the film "Gas Light". It is probably surprising just how many people are quite happy to assist with this!

Street Theatre
